Damien Azrael

Damien Orion Azrael was born on January 16th, 1984. Around the age of 10 he discovered the world of music through bands like Guns N' Roses, Marilyn Manson, Motley Crue, Morbid Angel, Slayer, and Pantera. When he turned 11 his mother asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he pointed to a picture of Nikki Sixx and said "I wanna play what he plays". So in early '95 Damien got his first bass and quickly began learning everything he could about the instrument. Even though he enjoyed playing bass he felt it would be a good idea to learn how to play guitar, so he picked up the guitar as well. By the age of 13, Damien used his ability to play both guitar and bass to get him into many different local bands. As the years progressed he played everywhere he could in South Florida, even opening for national acts such as Vince Neil (Motley Crue), Blue Oyster Cult, and Thrill Kill Kult. After playing locally and nationally in the U.S. for 10 years with many ups and downs, in 2010 Damien stepped away from music to pursue a different career. He spent 10 years working in public safety positions (private security and corrections) and is currently pursuing a career in Law Enforcement. As of 2021 he has also decided on a return to his first love, MUSIC.
